I didn’t have a little black dress until I bought this dress last week, and I couldn’t be more happy with it! It is such a nice fit, but also I love the shoulder detail, it makes the dress much more interesting and a bit more statementy. I have already worn it with black flats, next time I am thinking of teaming it up a leopard print belt to break to up a little.
NEW PURCHASES
River Island - £24.99
I saw this dress online a few weeks ago, but I really hate paying delivery costs, cheap of me I know, but also Inever know if some companies allow you to return online purchases into store so I didn’t bother ordering it! Anyway, I totally forgot about it until I walked into my local branch yesterday on my lunch break and saw it! I usually would not even try on this style dress as the waist is too low usually, but thankfully it looked okai for once! The black belt is a really nice touch as it breaks up the dress as the red stands out quite a lot! Paired up with a pair of black pumps, black tights and a blazer I can wear in the cold days and in the summer with a pair of black sandals. I am too excited to wear this dress!
River Island - £9.99
I have worn espadrilles for years as I get them in Menorca everytime I go to see my family over there. But I haven’t been a few years so my old pairs really started looking stupidly tatty! This pair from River Island are super comfy and look really good with jeans, a change from ballet shoes for once, which I live in.
Topshop - £20
They have taken this off the Topshop website but I got this beauty in white at work, I absolutely love it! I have already worn this top with black leggings (boring I know) but am going to try and team it up with my Topshop tapered trousers (shown in a previous post) tomorrow morning, tucked in which should look good as its quite baggy on me.
Topshop - £8
Sale bargain, I already have this top in pale pink, it is so handy to have if you are in a rush as you put it over jeans or leggings with a long top underneath for some layers and a long necklace and a pair of pumps and its an instant quick outfit which looks good and is so comfy!
I have bought some more things recently, but most of them are just basic items which aren’t too interesting and some stuff from ASOS is yet to be delivered yet!

‘NEED, WANT, LOVE’
I am totally in love with this Vionnet dress which the newly engaged and pregnant Natalie Portman is wearing, it looks amazing on her. I usually don’t like details on cuffs of dresses but this dress is the exception to the rule for me as I absolutely love it!
